With Igawa (6.67 ERA) and De La Rosa (5.61 ERA) on the mound, I assume we'll be looking at another hitter's fest. (Not to mention #500 possibly for A-Rod.) Any predictions on the total runs scored? And comment here as the game takes place.
And yet he had another outing without allowing a run in the first inning. That's 9 of his 12 appearances without a run in his first inning of work and only 4 runs allowed in those 12 innings for a first inning ERA of 3.00. And don't forget that his best game of the year was when he replaced Karstens with 2 on and no one out in the first against Boston in April. I say we trade Farnsworth for a bag of chalk and let Igawa have his bullpen spot.

I'll guess 14 runs.
i'm going with the conservative guess of 68 runs.
I've never booed a Yankee, but Igawa is testing my patience (as is Kyle Farnsworth).
Well, I was half right. Wow, way to start the blog just in time for an ugly loss. Igawa is definitely trying to join Pavano as an all-time bust.
