Andy Phillips Really Gone
My brother David tells me Andy declined Triple A and has been released. Who the heck do they expect to play first base, what with Duncan's floating anueryisms, Giambi's crippled body and Betemit not being an every day guy? Makes no sense to me. Poor Andy. He had a lovely singing voice.

You answered your own question. Between Giambi, Duncan, and Betemit someone will be able to play first every day.
And don't discount the possibility of Damon and Posada getting some playing time there as well.
But I want Andy, a solid first baseman, rather than a rotating string of so-sos.
