A-Rod at third...and possibly Lowell at first? While this is the exact scenario I dreamed up a month ago, something tells me that the combination of A-Rod returning, Andy Phillips being displaced by a free agent signing (even though he was drafted by the Yanks -- that's gotta count for something!), and thus Giambi assuming the full time DH role would be enough to send Michael into Mets fandom.
What say you?

I'm already a Met's fan. But I wil suffer and die with the Yankees and -- believe it or not -- try to make my peace with A-Rod come April. Lowell at first, when we've already got four or five guys crowded around that base? I don't think so. But hey, you're right, it could happen I guess in the crazy world of Hank and Hal. Though clearly Boston will have to overpay and keep him just like we do with Jorge. Truly, w Andy Philips (could he possibly get another shot at being the everyday firstbaseman?) and Giambi and Posada and Damon and who knows who else, I just don't see there being room.
And good job on finally getting a word in edge-wise!
Its all in good fun - and when it comes down to it we all want the same thing, we just have a different idea of what it takes to get there. And personally I don't care who is right if it means the Yanks end up back on top!
Your lips to God's ears. Except God doesn't care who wins the World Series -- all He cares about is Mo's contract.
